Carget 1-Year/10,000 KM Limited Powertrain Warranty

COVERAGE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Duration: 1 year or 10,000 km from the date of purchase (whichever comes first).
2. Eligibility: Full listed price must be paid for the vehicle, unless stated otherwise.
3. Maximum Coverage:This warranty provides a total aggregate limit of $2,000.00 for the duration of the policy. (Including diagnostics, parts, labor, shop supplies, and applicable taxes.)
4. Service Location: Warranty work must be performed exclusively at Carget Automotive or Carget Supercentre.
5. Deductible: $150.00 per visit applies to all covered repairs.
6. Policy is Non-Transferable
7.  If the vehicle is purchased with any aftermarket mechanical breakdown warranty, this policy cannot be used in conjunction with the aftermarket coverage. All claims must be processed exclusively through the aftermarket mechanical policy. Additionally, if the vehicle is still within manufacturer’s warranty, this policy does not apply.

WARRANTY COVERAGE

1. Engine (Covers listed internal engine components, when damaged internally) Engine Block and Cylinder Heads, Crankshaft & Main Bearings, Connecting Rods & Bearings, Camshaft & Camshaft Bearings, Pistons, Rings, and Wrist Pins, Intake & Exhaust Valves, Valve Springs & Retainers, Rocker Arms, Shafts, and Pivots, Push Rods, and Hydraulic Lifters.
2. Automatic Transmission/Transxle (Covers listed internal components only (when damaged from within): Gear Sets, Valve Body and Oil Pump.
3. Front and rear differentials (Covers listed internal engine components, when damaged internally): All Internal Components.
4. Replacement parts may be new, remanufactured, used or parts of like kind and quality

ADDITIONAL PARTS & COSTS

If any additional parts or services are required to complete a covered powertrain repair and those parts are not listed under the warranty coverage sections, the customer is responsible for those additional costs.

MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS

1. All scheduled maintenance must be performed according to the manufacturer’s maintenance guide.
2. All maintenance must be completed at either Carget Automotive or Carget Supercentre to retain warranty coverage.

EXCLUSIONS

1. Towing costs.
2. Seals and gaskets from any components listed in sections 1–3.
3. Oil or coolant leaks from any components listed in sections 1–3.
4. Vehicle is used for commercial, off-road, racing, or towing purposes.
5. Repairs are attempted or completed by any third-party service provider without prior written approval from Carget.
6. This warranty becomes void if any of the following modifications are made to the vehicle. (Engine tune, upgraded tire sizes beyond manufacturer specifications, aggressive or off-road tires, and non-manufacturer modifications that affect the powertrain or drivetrain components.)
